Three pronged attack

June 17, 2018

Dear G14s:

First and foremost, Ediz and I wanted to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU for your support during this, the infancy of our new facility. The transition from the garage to the warehouse hasn't been without its share of mishaps and frustrations, but we realized last week during our first official "hard opening" week just how lucky we are to have such a strong, loyal, and growing community to get through these growing pains.

To all our new members: we can't tell you how exciting it is to have you along for this journey. We believe very strongly in what we are doing, and to have so many new faces joining our ranks corroborates what we truly believe: our Composite Training regimen is really the best workout you're going to find--in a fancy cucumber water gym or in a garage of your own.

The new website ( is still being fleshed out, but it will soon have a very detailed description of Composite Training, how it differs from other regimens, and the benefits it has to offer. For now, we'd like you to start thinking about what we do in the warehouse as a three-pronged attack:

a) Interval week to retrain your metabolism and burn from the outside in

b) Load week to gain lean muscle mass, increase strength, and replace fat

c) Benchmark week to keep you (and your coaches) accountable for incremental growth

Our vision for how best to use our regimen is to come in at least three times a week. This is the only way to master form, stimulate a metabolic shift, and start changing the composition of your body. Again, we don't look at scales. Instead, we suggest you focus on displacing fat cells with lean muscle, a transfer in body composition that will stimulate blood flow to muscles, each cell of which takes more energy than fat to store.

We had our first official grocery shopping shadow last week, and we'll have more in the future. Monthly unlimited members get this added perk, plus a slew of other benefits:

a) office hours on Saturday to go over/work on form with our 1-on-1 guidance.

b) 10% off all our upcoming merchandise.

c) digital tracking of our benchmarks

Regarding that last point, if you haven't yet already, download the ZenPlanner Member Connect app onto your phone, do so now!

We'll also be starting an endurance day every fourth Sunday of the month. More about this later, but know that we have some field trips in mind. One of which is the Zion Half Marathon in February. We'll be sending out more info on that soon, but we will have a team of us heading out there to run it down. Let's get some numbers and make a scene of it!

Otherwise, we'll see you in the warehouse this week. Our last week of intervals before we move onto benchmarks next week. Spread the word and let's grow!

It's all uphill from here,

Al / Ediz
